A play on material and the interaction between hard and soft forms. This ottoman comes with a built in table and serves as low seating or a footrest.

Made of three modular bent laminated forms that are mitered together to create a lightweight yet comfortable seat. The seating surface can be left bare or woven through with yarn or leather to create a triangulated pattern.

Inspired by origami objects, this chair shell is constructed out of two pieces of laser cut steel that contain many folds but minimum welding.

A simple and elegant side chair that is suitable for indoors and outdoors. The cork is CNC milled and made to fit perfectly into the collapsible steel frame.

This indoor scooter for adults was created to let your inner child continue to play. One can ride on it or simply use as a soft bench that can be sat on sideways, backwards, or straddled.

A three-drawer desk with an embedded power strip, task light, and secret compartments. Inspired by the fascination of opening things and childhood memories of searching through other people's belongings.

Bleached ash and lace.

There are some things you wear on your sleeve, and some things you'd rather keep hidden. This cabinet was designed based on the idea of storing memories in secret compartments that only the owner would know how to access but could be found generations later when the piece of furniture is passed down. Through a series of four maneuvers, an extra shelf and two drawers are revealed, while the front shelves and drawers are accessible to all for storage and display.
